MUSHROOMS IN CREAM

 

1 pound button mushrooms, quartered

2 Tablespoons butter

8 to 10 green onions, chopped

1 Tablespoon flour

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 Tablespoon dried dill ( or add fresh )

1/2 cup sour cream

salt and pepper to taste

Hungarian Paprika

 

 

Wash the mushrooms and pat dry. Melt the butter in your sauté pan and add the mushrooms and onions. Sauté for about 2 minutes and slowly stir in your flour. Add the lemon juice, dill and salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes longer.

 

Stir in the sour cream and heat through, stirring for about 1 minute. 

 

Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately.
